Secondhand Stores in North Park
6 locations
North Park is arguably San Diego’s most popular neighborhood for thrifting. It has been a long time hub for independent music, art, and counterculture through its secondhand shops — record stores with genre-specific catalogs, vintage boutiques, and buy-sell-trade shops.
The main corridors along North Park Way, 30th Street, and University Avenue reward slow browsing. There’s no shortage of places to grab coffee or lunch nearby when you need a break. North Park won’t always be the cheapest stop on your San Diego thrift circuit, but it’s consistently one of the most satisfying. Parking can be a pain on the weekends, but you can find free parking in the neighborhoods if you don’t mind walking a few blocks. There are also frequent buses going in and out of the neighborhood.
